Toronto Blue Jays star Josh Donaldson to guest on ‘Vikings’
TORONTO SUN – Josh Donaldson has been traded to the Vikings.
It was announced on Thursday that Josh Donaldson of the Toronto Blue Jays will be “bringing the rain” with a guest appearance – and it’s a speaking role – in the fourth season of Vikings, which airs on History.
Donaldson is headed to Ireland this week for filming.
Donaldson, the 2015 American League Most Valuable Player, apparently is a huge fan of the series. Known for his bizarre hairstyles, Donaldson recently Tweeted a photo unveiling an eyebrow-raising Viking-esque cut inspired by Vikings lead character Ragnar Lothbrok, who is played by Travis Fimmel.

Donaldson will play Hoskuld, a Viking warrior of great skill, in an episode that will air later this year as part of the fourth season, which debuts Feb. 18 on History.
Following the Vikings’ successful raid of Paris in Season 3, Ragnar is the most feared and respected leader in the Western world as Season 4 begins. However, his victory is short-lived as he is surrounded by those who seek his undoing.
You know, just like baseball.
